Rio Araca
NEWEST PEACOCK BASS FISHING LODGE
Philip Marsteller, owner and operator of the Rio Negro Lodge and Amazon Queen, is proud to announce a new destination for world class Brazil peacock bass fishing - the Rio Araca Lodge. The Rio Araca Lodge is fully operational and ready to welcome peacock bass fishing anglers every week.
The Araca River was the set location for the Bass Pro Shops/Outdoor World's TV program. During the taping of this peacock bass fishing show, Johnnie Morris caught a huge 25.5 pound peacock bass while his two nephews' both caught pending junior world records. This trip, along with other fishing fly-outs to the area, demonstrated to Philip Marsteller that this was a fishery with great potential. There was only one problem - it was located in such a remote area, it could only be reached by plane for day peacock bass fishing trips. With this in mind, the Rio Araca Lodge was born.
Rio Araca Lodge will house up to 12 anglers per week. Peacock bass fishing anglers will go out to peacock bass fish every day on Tracker Pro Team 165 bass boats. Upon their return they will enjoy fully air-conditioned, deluxe accommodations with six private suites, each with their own private bathroom and two queen beds. There will be a dining room for fabulous meals that are carefully prepared and served by the friendly staff of the Rio Araca Lodge. Guests may also enjoy their choice of beverages (open bar) and tell their fishing stories about the one that got away - or the one that
didn't!
