Mexico Dove Hunting - El Fuerte
| Mexico Dove hunting in El Fuerte, Sinaloa is one of the most
exciting hunting experiences one can have. Both mourning dove and whitewings
are present in large numbers. Local farmers plant milo and sesame seeds for
use as pasture or for harvest. Both of these grains are part of the
preferred diet of the dove. Soon after the first cool weather sets in up
north, the doves migrate to Mexico for their winter stay. The numbers are
incredible. Many hunters do not count singles, finding it much easier to
only count their double kills. |

An experienced guide is provided for each group of hunters,
and each hunter has his own bird boy. A cooler is sent along with each
hunter for refreshments. Hunters wishing to take birds home may do so. For a
minor charge, your bird boys will clean and pack your birds for shipment. We
can freeze your birds for easy transport. If you wish to take your birds
home, you should bring a cooler with you or you can purchase one locally.
Please note that Styrofoam coolers are not allowed for transport on air
carriers. |

staying at the Lake Dominquez Lodge in downtown El Fuerte. The lodge is very
comfortable in a garden setting. All your meals are prepared at the lodge by
the owner and hostess. The meals consist of a variety of American and
Mexican dishes. Purified water is utilized for cooking and is always
available to the guests. |

gun permissions must be processed at least 30 days in advance and preferably 60.
Hunting licenses are processed in Mexico while gun permissions are processed in
the US through an online service.

Jet boat River Tour, Town Tour and the Copper Canyon. Your non hunting
members can take the majestic train ride through the Canyon while you are
enjoying hot barrel action.
Weather at El Fuerte, Mexico
Dry! It may be a little chilly in the mornings down to around 50’s. The
afternoons will run into the 80’s.

Day One
Your international flight will arrive at Los Mochis International Airport
where you will be met by a company representative. From there, you will transfer
to the lodge in El Fuerte. Dinner will be waiting when you arrive.
Days Two- Four
Early to rise, enjoy a hearty breakfast and depart for the Milo fields for
your morning hunt. You will return to the lodge for lunch and a short break.
After your break, your guide will take you to one of the watering holes for your
afternoon hunt. Then it is back to the lodge for Margaritas a great dinner.
Day Five
After breakfast we will transfer you to the Los Mochis airport for your
flight home.
Arrival days are flexible, allowing you to plan around your busy schedules.
