LAKE HUITES LODGE RATES

While it is true that the most experienced anglers return each day with reports of phenomenal catches, even novice anglers quickly learn the ways of Huites bass and land them in numbers that they could never attain in the US. Typically, the early hours offer fantastic topwater action. As the sun rises overhead, switch to a deeper approach using spinnerbaits, worms and crankbaits. For real trophies, look towards deep water for the lunker of your dreams. Two anglers are paired with an experienced guide. Lake Huites Lodge guides have been trained and retrained and are now the some the best guides in all of Mexico. All boats come with Depth Finders and trolling motors are considered to be the best-maintained fleet in all of Mexico.

  • For eight – $1970.00 per person

  • For four – $2770.00 per person

If the plane has to deadhead back, here will be an additional $1500.00 charge.

ADDITIONAL CLIENT COST FOR PHOENIX TRIPS: If the pilot stays in Mexico, you will need to pay $100 to the lodge per day for pilot expense. Also, there may be an additional fuel surcharge charged by Westwind, and if there is, you will need to pay this directly to Westwind upon your return to Phoenix.

Lake Huites Lodge Required Deposit Amount:

To initiate a reservation Lake Huites Lodge, a $600 per angler deposit is required. Final payments are due 60 days prior to your departure. A reservation is not confirmed until deposits are received.
Included in the Lake Huites Lodge Package:

  • Round-trip transfers from airport to the lodge
  • Daily maid service
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Beverages while fishing
  • Three days guided fishing (2 anglers per boat)
  • Mexican fishing license
  • Margaritas, beer, soft drinks and filtered water

Not included in the Lake Huites Lodge Package:

  • Airfare to Los Mochis, Mexico
  • Lake Huites Foundation Membership of $20.00

Lake Huites Lodge Fishing Season:

September through June. Although the lake offers excellent fishing on a year-round basis, we’ve discovered that the months outside the prime fishing window of September through June are often extremely hot or rainy.

Lake Huites Lodge Capacity: 20 anglers.

Weather at Lake Huites Lodge:The evening and morning hours are cool because of the cool crisp mountain air of the Sierra Madre Mountains. As the day progresses, it typically heats up to between 84 and 90 degrees. Occasional showers do occur, so a rain-suit is a must.

Lake Huites Lodge Accommodations:

Two anglers will share a room complete with air conditioner, private bathroom and filtered water. The beds offer first quality US made mattresses. The rooms overlook the lake. Maid service is provided daily.

Meals at Lake Huites Lodge:

The cooking staff will provide a delightful array of dishes for visiting anglers, including steaks, fish and an elaborate Mexican dinner. Freshly made chips and salsa, along with frosty cold margaritas, are always on hand to hold you over until dinner is served.

Activities for the Non-Angler at Lake Huites Lodge: Lake Huites Lodge is first and foremost a fishing lodge. Because it is so remote, there are not many activities that would make it appealing for the non-angler.

Upon receipt of deposits, you will be sent a detailed packing list and other literature.

A fishing expedition will certainly offer you an exciting and rewarding experience. Unfortunately, however, one undertaking such an angling adventure must face the possibility that you or your fishing companion might be forced to cancel your trip at the last moment due to illness, injury or other emergency or sustain an unfortunate injury and require medical services or worse, medical evacuation during your trip. Trip cancellation and travel insurance can help protect you and your travel companions from these unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances. We will send you the application forms from Travelex, a major, reliable insurer of traveling anglers. Typically, the cost of an extensive program is less than $65 per $1,000 of coverage. It is wise to always consult with your personal health insurance provider before undertaking any type of travel to determine what is covered in the event of injury or illness during your travels.
