The hunt

Early morning, after a full breakfast, we drive (5 to 45 min) to the field where the guides will have the blinds set and cases of shells ready. About a half hour after light breaks, clouds of doves will start swarming over you. There is no way to describe it, you must see to believe it. The birds will fly all day long, but anyway we take a break for lunch in the field or at the lodge. From April to August, we shoot the feeding paddocks or the flyway between them and the roost. The rest of the year we shoot by the roost all day long. This is the highest volume shooting ever seen, the use of shoulder pads and semiautomatic guns and a loader are highly recommended. The limit is set by the hunter's capacity, there are always more birds than anybody can shoot.

Back to the lodge the staff will clean the guns.

a) Bocalua: Little hotel resort, with 22 exclusive rooms, swimming pool, 2 bars, conference room and business center, ideal for large groups or corporate trips. Buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park with tropical vegetation and exotic birds and animals. The excellence of the cuisine and the open bar make the culinary experience a real add on to the hunting experience.

b) Itabepi: Charming farm with nice room in very tastefully decorated thatched wooden cabins, with large decks holding hammocks, where you can enjoy the sunset while listening to the rattling of the big, old mill. In another building is a beautiful lounge and dining room, where you can taste the fhe food grown and processed on the property. The delicious hams, cheeses, beef and vegetables are the product of the self-sufficient farm. And the country cooking makes the stay a very delightful experience. It can host up to eight hunters.

All International flights arrive BA early morning. We pick you up at the airport and in 2 and half hours, you are at the lodge.

DOVE HUNTING ( 4 days )

Day 1:
Early morning arrival into Buenos Aires. Our host will greet you and provide assistance through customs.
Transportation will be provided to the dove hunting area. (2 ½ hrs driving).
Enjoy ½ day of dove hunting.

Day 2 through day 4:
Full days of dove hunting.
Evenings will find you at the estancia enjoying a gourmet dinner complimented with beer and wine.

Day 5:
Morning dove hunting.
Van transportation provided to the Buenos Aires airport.
